I know you're not talking about me Brandon! :)

You're right about a home being a financial burden but there's nothing like it. And owning your own place isn't that bad of a burden to have!

IMO, you can't go wrong either way. School has it's benefits and so does a home.

thanks guys for the nice comments. should be a reliable 10 sec TRUE street car. the mph is there and i haven't even started tight tuning yet. it should be 130mph+ easy next spring. i drive it to work constantly. i do have a truck for back up though when i break stuff. :-)

regattacoupe, i'll be out at norwalk in spring, and i will surely try to gather as many folks online as possible. be cool to have a night out and meet.

    later,

Mike, your car just made me fall in love with procharged, carbed chevy's all over again. The owner of procharger actually has an incredible nova with a blow through setup. I belive it's an f2r though.

    Hi all.

Darin here. I'm 27. Married, soon to be daddy (we just found out).
Auto technician by trade. Have an 85 GT that has been converted to fuel injected. Right now it has a 91 5.0 with a b-cam, 1.7 rockers, Vortech S-trim w/regegade pulleys & power pipe. TKO with McCleod bellhousing, Spec STage 3 clutch, and billet flywheel.
    Blah,blah,blah...

    :D

Its gonna be a stricly track car. Haven't had a chance to run it yet, still need a few things before its operational.

    allow myself to introduce..

    .. myself.

I'm Michael. Former Submarine sailor just about finishing up my time in the canoe club. Divorced and girlfriend (don't know which is worse, don't know any better). I'm living in Guam right now with my Novi blown 90GT convertible and having a pretty good time. Can't do as much to the car as I'd like to- money isn't the issue, shipping

    Ahhh another Troy...

Brandon...I might have been under the influence of alcohol when I made that post...not sure what I meant...lol. The PMS works, he hasn't made any changes b/c he has to tear the motor down again (cracked block). We are going to move it to his street car for him to get used to it. But so far no problems at all.

93 Cobra. Purchased new and the Vortech went on 3 weeks later. Finally split the block after 10 years of boost. So I have a Keith Craft built 331 R going in soon.
Also have a 70 440 6 pack Cuda and a 71 383 Cuda conv. sharing space in the garage.
3 horses, 1 cat and apx. 950 cows.
Nice to see you're still around Kirk! Hopefully I'll be seeing you at the track next year!

Lesse... I'm Ben. 33 years young. 2 kids (2 & 1) and the woman the birthed them (aka "dah wife").

91 Faleen with some shiny things under the hood and it goes vroom vroom a lot. :D

OK, I guess it's my turn. My name is John, live in NY, I'm 31 and married for 6 years now, no kids (we're DINKS...for now). We've got 2 dogs - a rotti and a pitbull.

I'm the 2nd owner of my '09 5.0 lx, it's got a Novi 1k and all the fixings. It's only got 12k miles. It's my one and only Mustang, everytime I think of selling it, I get cold feet.

The car's my money pit, I live to dump $$$ into it. Everytime I think I'm done..........you know how that story goes. :D
