Made a few passes with the little 4.6 modular last night

I haven't made a pass (at the track) since the car blew up (over a year ago) with the old engine/combo. Really I just went there thinking if I can make a pass without breaking something I'll be happy.

Anyway, it appears that the way the tranny is shifting now and the power I'm making, the Nittos just aren't enough and I had to throttle the car (i.e. 1/2 throttle and 3/4 max) which means I didn't really get to see more then 6-7 psi of boost. No sweat, I'll get some decent tires if/when I decide to go again.

I honestly can say that it was a thrill tonight hanging out and appreciate all the confidence.

Ok so here's the results (don't beat me up too badly):

    1st run @6:54 PM

    R/T: .964
    60': 2.070
    330: 5.503
    1/8: 8.322
    MPH: 87.24
    1000: 10.729
    1/4: 12.742
    MPH: 112.88

    2nd run @7:45 PM

    R/T: .689
    60': 1.964
    330: 5.285
    1/8: 8.053
MPH: 88.36 <---that's low for me oh well
    1000: 10.433
    1/4: 12.425
    MPH: 113.91

I know there is plenty more mph in her and as said, I just wanted to make a few "shakedown" passes. I hope everyone's evening was as pleasant as mine was.

By the way, I beat my old best of 12.5@115 with less mph :) I guess the suspension and overall combo is working. Now I need some traction.

    Cheers,
    Tim
