what size injectors with no fmu

I know some guys may have asked this question but I couldnt find the answer that was looking for.
I was getting ready to get my car dyno tuned but the whos going to tune my car said that I should use
36lb injectors with calibrated mass air, a custom chip and forget about the fmu. 36ers are hard to find
and they seem to cost more. I also dont want the car to run rich before the boost kicks in
because live in California and the smog laws. Will 36ers be too much or can I use 24s or 30s with no
fmu and the chip. Im just wondering if the chip will keep the car smogable with 36ers.

Alot of us are using 42#'s injectors with great success. If you kep your eye out on the Corral, you can pick up a set fairly cheap compared to new cost.

Looking at your combo though, I think you'd be fine with maybe 30's.

How many #'s of boost you running?

Instead of a chip you may want to look into a "tuner" such as the PMS, Tweecer, etc.

on a stock engine I would not use anything over a 30# At 40psi the 30's would be good for 350~ FWHP. Unless of course you have alot of boost (10+) Then a larger injector may be approprate.

I'm going to use 42's with a completely stock motor and a novi2000 with tunning aid. :) Will see how it works.
