right now i have the curved discharge. i need a straight discharge.
now :
can i somehow buy just this part and have it fit "correctly" ?
or "must" i send the unit back to Vortech ?
if i can buy just that part, how and where ?
about what will this cost me ?
discharge = this is what i have been told what its call. its the part that intake and exhaust of the unit itself, the impeller is inside it. is this correct ?

If you need a custom fit, you can very easily make it out of 3" exhaust tubing how ever long you need it. I guess it all depends on what you want and need.

yeah, i could use a J bend to make it work. but that would be inefficient, 3 bends, as oppossed to the 1 bend the way i want to do it. not to mension it would look kinda rig-jobbed. it would be a LOT cheaper though.
i'm suprised no one here has done something like this before.
