    Question Noisy boost bypass

This may be a strange request, but I am looking for a way to quiet down the boost bypass. I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.0L with a P1SC intercooled at 9psi. I know this is a mustang crowed but you guys helped me out before so I thought I would come back. When the system is bypassing it makes a loud hissing sound. If I was using the vehicle for racing I wouldn't care about it. Since the majority of my daily driving keeps the RPM high enough to create boost but the throttle too closed to use it, the system bypasses alot and the hissing gets old after a while. I am wondering if any of you have made, or know of any manufactures that offer some sort of muffling device to quiet the rush of air coming out of the bypass tube. Man I must be getting old

Thats just normal. You may be able to find a quieter bov, or you could add another one. Also you could try to position it somewhere else like down low and toward the front of the engine if you can on your application.
