    Here's of couple pics of my block now that she's home.....







    Gonna try to get it painted this w/e and then start the build after I take my finals next week :D

    Machinist weighed it in at ~160#'s, you should have seen me wrestle that thing onto the engine stand and outta the bed of my truck by myself :D

    I always have best luck painting it after it is fully assembled.

    I love my dart block so good luck with yours. Are you going solid roller or with link bar lifters?

    I've got the gold plated link bar lifters :D

    May eventually go with a solid set-up if I ever get a "real" blower, lol.

    What oil pan do you have? Happen to have the part# handy??

    I figured that it'd be easier to paint w/o having all the crap on there, looked like it'd be easier to tape/mask everything off that way.

    YES YES YES! my question is how high are you gonna spin it?
    89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:





    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

    I purchased the Jeff Johnston's billet fab oil pan. It was kind of expensive, but it definitely didn't have any clearance problems with the block. It didn't come with a dipstick either, but that might be an option that I didn't order.

    lol sean you could have bored that thing to a 1000 cubic inches.;)

    I think it's time for you to buy a real blower and go after douglas.:)

    You can make the Dart 302 into a 385, but it still would not touch Doug and if it did I am sure it would not be for long :p
