new guy w/ ?s about the fmu

hello my name is jay and i had a new novi 1000 installed on my 5.0
i just tried to post this but did something wrong b/c it didn't work.
ok here is my main problem FUEL B/C I AM RUNNING VERYYYY RICH.
    Quest.
    1)
I have read some old post and from my reading i feel that i am running rich b/c i have 24lb injectors and a 255lph fuel pump along w/ running the FMU paxton sent to me. will i be ok running w/o a FMU. my other mods are as follows:
    pro-M 75mm cal. for 24lbs
    70mm t/b
    performer intake
    stock h/c & bottem end
    equel length headers
    no cats, smog, ac
never dyno but stock weight for a coupe and before s/c i ran a 13.9 set up for the street at almost sea level

    2)
i also blew my heater core right after i got the car out of the shop does this have anything to do w/ the s/c or is it just bad timing.

    thanks for your help.
    Jay :D

Running rich is a fairly common issue with the Novi 1000 when running the supplied FMU, However I don't think you have enough injector to be able to get away w/o the FMU "safely". I believe there is a sticky in the "General Tech" forum in regards to making the FMU adjustable.

It's doubtful that the heater core failure was due to the s/c. Good luck on that fun job:D Be sure to buy the Ford core and not some cheapo autoparts store one.

adjustable FMU link, the pics are messed up from the merger of the sites though.
