If you set your FP to 38lbs W/ no vac. Just leave it there for now, There must be something else wrong. Make sure everything is connected properly, no check eng lite, proper MAF calibration, Is it rich or lean ?, Does it surge ?, Etc.
Give a little more in depth story on what is going on.

We're all here for fun and support to each other.
This is why i love this site! :)

PLUS we have numerous 120+ mile novi 1k cars in the mix and other up and coming superstars
deff me! i got my money on the 5.0 because with my h/c/i i was beating them bad from a roll, even with them punching it 1st, from a stop it would be the same, my buddy brian with his 98 cobra with pullies, CAI, flowmaster american thunders, O/F H-pipe, 373 gears i would beat him by about 8 cars up to 100. he would love to see my car rip and i loved the sound of his twins twistin up in RPMs :D dads got a 01 cobra and its been going back and forth between he and i but when it comes down to it, we're a TEAM.

everything is hooked up and the check engine is not on

the car surges just a little, it does it at around 2400 to 2700 rpms, i cant tell if it is rich or lean-the injectors and mass air are calabrated

Try clocking (rotating) your MAF meter one way or the other, alot of times this small trick really helps with surging.

APV-STANG: List *ALL* of your mods all the way down to the fuel pump in your tank, etc... etc... As well as the settings on certains components such as timing, FP w/vac off(we know that one I believe :) ), if you have an FMU is it calibrated for your injectors. You mentioned a ram air setup? Could you elaborate a little more on that please.

The more info you give us, the better we can assist you :)

    Laters,
