First off let me say Hi. I found this forum through a search engine, while trying to trouble shoot the problem in the threads title.
I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 4x4 w/ 6.0L. Over the weekend a PS1sc was installed, since installation I have been having trouble with my AC/Heating controls, when I first start the truck everything is fine, after driving around for a few minutes I am unable to make changes to the vent positions ie; can't change the vent from floor to defrost etc. The only thing I have found to fix it is to let it sit for a few hours. My assumption is that the vent controls are vacuum actuated and the boost is causing problems. If this is correct any ideas on how to fix? I have heard of check valves for vacuum lines but am having trouble finding any info online.
Also I am still playing with the FMU for max power but am afraid of leaning too much. I have a pyrometer installed, any ideas on optimal egt? Currently about 1200 deg, have seen as high as 1300 at full throttle/boost. Thanks in advance for any info.
