    Question 16-18psi

I'm going to be lazy here and just ask, what size pully do I need to get to reach 16-18psi? And does anyone here know what size belt I'm going to need (ie a part number) for this application on a V2 mod engine?

    Thanks,
    Kyle

Give Vortech a call,, but I think you need something under 2.50. . . and I would go with a 10 rib setup or a cog depending on how much you drive the car on the street. My 7" crank with a 2.95 pully produces 10lbs at 5600 ft above sea level, which would be about 12-14 at sea level,, Bee

Midnight, I would be welling to say you’re in error. I have been in contact with Vortech and now have the information that I was looking for along with the part numbers that I need to reach my goal. Thank you for your incorrect opinion.

    Hey IBURICE... KMA,

    Hi midnight,

Sorry I don't recall ever stating you being stupid in any of my posts to you, if you misinterpreted it that way I would like to apologize for any misunderstandings. Also like you stated, I am not trying to flame you either. I have a 6.8 crank pulley and a 3.125 pulley. That is the maximum power setup for my V-2 SQ system. That should put me in the 50,000+ rpm range which is about the maximum that I can go in that Vortech setup. Now correct me if I'm wrong here but at maximum rpm on the V-2 SQ system, isn't 18-20psi what I should be seeing?

Let me know what you think,
    Thanks,
    Kyle
