    S Trim and Explorer Engine

I am considering putting a low mile 1999 Exploer engine in my 1990 Vert.

Do you all think that this motor will hold up to 8-10 lbs of boost?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Yes it will, but if you decide to up the boost down the road, you have to remember that since 1993 the 5.0 v8 engines have hyperutectic pistons. Therefore you will have to go to forged pistons. Make sure you get that car on a dyno and get a good safe tune on it so you don't blow it up.

yes yes it is all in the tune...even a built motor will not put up with a crap tune on a blower.
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
