With a roller cam just use motor oil or buildup oil that you are using on the rest of the motor. That is all that is need on a roller.
I personally have always used a 50/50 mix of 30wt motor oil and blue bottle STP. It is the stickiest slimiest stuff you have ever seen for building up motors. It is an old school aviation trick for building up air cooled recip motors.

It's not cam lube for a flat tappet cam is it?

i always coat 50weight harley type oil on everything when doing the new motor " run in"
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:
Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
