    Blower & Nitrous

Just Say down the road I wanted to give my car a small shot of N20, would it blow everything?

    I will be running:

AFR 165cc Heads, E303 Camshaft, Typhoon Intake, 42lbs injectors, pro m 80mm mass air, Novi 1000 ( Powerpipe, 8" Crank Pulley)

Would say a 30 Shot of Zex Be too much for my little set up?

You should be fine with a 30 shot, just don't do a 100 shot like Chris (Goliath) did :D on a stock lower end.

I'm also considering this down the road but I am tossed between a shot of N2O or a nice water/methanol injection kit.

    Perfect.

Now Keep In mind I have ALL Stock Internals and the heads are not O ringed heads.

What would be the best Nitrous kit that would offer a 30 Shot??

    Thanks Sean :D

SN95BLK: I would highly recommend a Nitrous Work WET Kit. The jetting can go as low as 35 hp or as high as 175 :D The Nitrous Works kit comes with a neat throttle body nitrous plate, with cross drilled nitrous/fuel dispensing rods. Awesome package IMO.

    a 50 shot would be okay! :D

Sounds Good. Another Question I have is off topic. What Front Brake System do you recommend for my Mustang. I heard the Baer 13" Track Kit is nice?

I've absolutley been considering stowing a little N20 away for a rainy day. I'd get the zex wet kit and buy some of the sportcompact jets. 50 is what i had in mind actually.
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

For a Rainy day?? Ha ha ha! That's just when you'll need a Blown and Juiced rear wheel drive Mustang!

Yeah, I was wondering that does ZEX offer a 35 Shot of the Dry Kit??

LOL that does sound a little odd when i say it back. i've heard the dry kits are not the way to go on supercharged mustangs. i don't knwo what kind of injector you use but imagine when the fuel pressure ramps way up on a 42 lb. injector! overload

I use 42LBS Injectors. So Wet Kit from ZEX is what your thinking? But can I get a 30 Shot from them??

i'm almost positive. I'd check out the nitrous works setup that goliath reccomended. he's got more hands on N20 knowledge than i do.

Thanks for the kind words Brent :D

SN95BLK: A Zex kit would be okay IMO. If you are determined to use one, I would recommend a wet kit from them. Now mind you another Blown/Nitrous'd novi 1k brother (Minn5.0) used a 30 or 50 shot of Nitrous from a dry kit with success. Originally I was going to go the dry kit route since I had a dry kit lying around, but was told by many reputable tuners (online and from local shops) that due to potential conflicting issues in using a dry kit in conjuction with a supercharged application, it would be better (safer) to go with the wet kit.

BTW: 42# injectors should be okay. I used 30# injectors and an FMU with a 6:1 calibration disc to work with 15 psi and 100 shot of juice
I know I was maxing the hell out of the injectors. Theoretically, books and tuners would dictate otherwise and guide you to using bigger injectors, but I was able make what I had work, as I believe you will be able to make what you have work.
