novi 1000 on 351w

I need help. I have a novi1000 on my mustang and i am gonna buy a 351w for it this spring:D i am very happy about this. My question is can i keep the novi1000. will it use the sa,e mounting hardware or do i need to buy a new bracket do they even make a bracket to fit the 351. please help.

You will need a new bracket. Specifically the cast aluminum one that mounts to the engine. Paxton does not make one for use with a 351, but Vortech does (or so I've heard) and I understand it will work as Paxton's and Vortech's cast bracket are the same in the 302 application. Mind you I'm not 100% on this, but this subject came up last month on here. It was a Novi 2K application but the info there said the Vortech 351 bracket would do the job. Hopefully someone with some knowledge or experience can offer some better insight for you.

I think a 1000 might be a little small for a Windsor anyway.

i am sure it prolly would be but it would be good untill i could afford a new supercharger. even if i only got some boost out of it it would help.
