    Projected boost?

    Hey all-

Progress on my engine has been halted due to Scat taking forever to get me my crank. The rest of the parts have been in for awhile. Scat says I'll have the crank anyday. Crossing my fingers.
With all this time waiting for the crank, my minds been going. What I'm trying to figure out now is how much boost my Novi 2000 will make on my engine. It's the kit for the 86-93 Mustang 5.0 with 8 lbs of boost. Seeing that my engine will be breathing a whole lot different than a stock 302, I assume the charger won't be making 8 lbs of boost. What do you all think? How much boost will the Novi make with this combo?

    -Dart 348 (302 based)
    -8.5:1 CR
-AFR 205's w/ a little clean up porting
-Custom Comp Cam (int-286/570, ex-294/579, 114 lobe center split)
-Holley SysteMax II ported and port matched
    -42 lb injectors
    -1 7/8" custom headers with 3" exhaust

    Thanks-
    Craig

Craig, as long as you have a 4" powerpipe(i realize they don't stock this for a 65')or equivelent and at least a Pro-M 80, the blower 'should' produce real close, if not right on as advertised. The 2000 is one extremely efficient huffer. Could you post your cam specs? I'm thinking of running something very similar with my 357.
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
