Damn! Thanks TonyV... but I don't think this 92GT has a threaded hole on the side of the smog pump. That's the problem... What to do...

Could be u don't have the original OEM smog pump.

Drop by your local Ford dealer,parts dept and take a look at a OEM Replacement and compare it to yours.

Bad news: Ford no longer makes smog pumps for Fox bodied mustangs.
Good news: Picked up a smog pump lastnight from a friend. The housings are identical, but the fox smog pump has the provision for the alt stay bracket. Thanks TonyV!

Ok, one more obstacle:
For the accessory belt tensioner, did anyone have to grind on the tensioner to get it to sit on the top waterpump stud? It's hitting the driver's side accessory bracket. Or, should I grind off the ear of the accessory bracket? It's keeping the tensioner assembly from sitting straight, and keeping that bottom hole from going onto the stud. Any ideas?

i grinded a bit of the assessory bracket.That solved the problem.
