351 with Novi and hypereutectic piston

Well it looks like I'm gonna be putting a 95W in my car.
The thing is that it's a perfectly good running motor and I don't really want to pull it apart and rebuild it cause of that (not to mention, I don't have a lot of money right now).
I know I should do it right and put forged pistons in etc. but if I had a good tune, do you think I could get away with using it for a season or 2, (this is a daily driver(for only 6-7 months of the year)/weekend warrior and I don't rev over 6000rpm).
I'd use my elebrock heads, edelbrock intake, not sure of cam yet (nothing to wild), Novi 1000 running either 10lbs or I may put it down to 8lbs, shorty headers, and all those other little bolt ons and I'v got a twEECer that would be dyno tuned.

Is anyone running Hypereutectic pistons and a blower?
What do you guys think is there anyway I can get away with this?
    Thanks

Sinner, With my windsor buildup i'm doing right now, if i didn't know how I am I'd put hypereutectic pistons in an engine. But I plan on getting a bigger blower and letting it rip so i went forged. If you use your heads and a good intake it should only make 7-8psi anyway i think. I'm not sure on that one but i'll know in about a month or so. I think it will be just fine.

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

I think you could get away with it. If I were in your situation, though, I would do the motor now. You are going to spend a lot of time swapping over heads, intake, etc only to pull the motor in two years to rebuild it? Not to mention the added expense of another set of gaskets and all the time involved to pull the motor again.

But, maybe your existing motor is dead and the car has to be on the road again because its your only set of wheels. Just my 2 cents, but I find it easy to spend other peoples money!

Thanks for the input guys. Chuckash I'm not too worried about the swapping etc as I do it myself (so wont cost any and like I said I have half of a year of it just sitting there) but you do make good points none the less.

Regattacoupe.... did you get your windsor in yet? I'm interested in how those lowering mounts turned out.
Is the oil pan sitting pretty close to the ground? Any troubles with the headers? Finally did it tuck under the hood fine, what intake do you have on?
    Thanks
