What is considered safe EGT's with a blower? Although my setup is not for racing I am a little concerned with the EGT's I am seeing, my P1sc is on a 2003 3/4 ton chevy truck with a 6.0L engine, running 9psi of boost. I regularly get EGT's in the 900-1300 range depending on if I am put'in around, cruising on the highway or hammer down. Today I saw 1400deg while towing my boat up a grade (not full throttle). I guess I should get it on a Dyno w/ a wide band to make sure the the A/F is right. The thing is I saw the 1200-1300deg temps prior to installing the blower at full throttle, but 1400 seems kinda high, what do you think, at what temp should I start backing off the throttle? Thanks
