are all v2's SQ units?
i was told by vortech that if it says V2 its a SQ
97 ex cab 3dr, black, stock 4.3, VORTECH V2 SQ / PowerStroke FMIC, A4
Check your oil line first to make sure your getting good oil pressure to the head unit. Also make sure that your inlet side has no obstruction in its path that might make the head unit pull harder on the intake side causing it to have to work harder to get a good air path.
