    f150 pulley problems

does anyone with the f150 pulley have a small front lip on theres mine does and for some reason i keep throwing belts with it this really sucks cause i like the power gain and i had to go back to the stock pulley cause i was loosing belts. is there a f150 pulley that has a bigger front lip then the one i got.

Use a straight edge and make sure that the pullies are lined up. A larger ridge may help, but if you are tossing belts, it is most likely mis-aligned pullies.

Ditto on Ians suggestion, you may have to shim the F-150 pulley out some.

to do the streight edge i am guessing you just lay the edge up against one of the pulleys then push it over to see if it hits the pulley you are checking or if it just goes over it?

Lay the strait edge flush across the front of the pulley, and than line it up with the crank shaft! Check the distance from the belt to the strait edge! It should be the same distance away!
