sn2000 rebuild question inside

OK, I understand how to rebuild the ball drive unit. However, looking at teh input shaft, I have no idea how to get to the parts to replace? How do you get the input shaft, driver, ect ...... off and repalced? I have a bearing press to remove the bearings, but how do you get the unit off? And how do you meausre where the input shaft mates to??? As of now, I plan on only replacing my ball drive races, balls, adn output shaft. For future references, i would like to know what or how to do it!
