    Question N2K & cold weather....

Does the Novi 2000 have the same cold weather (don't run it below 25*) issues as the Novi 1000??

That's what I thought, but this is what Paxton told me......

    Hi Michael,

The novi 2000 unit will work just fine in cold weather conditions. I have
never heard of any novi 2000 unit have trouble in cold temps. I would
recommend with any blower that you let the car warm up to operating
temperature before you start to drive it. That way the oil can warm up and
    circulate through the unit.

    Thanks MIcah

    Aaarrgghh!! I'm soooo confused..........

It's the start-up and idleing before the "once the car warmed up" part that worries me. I don't want to drop that kind of cash on it, and then kill it the first really cold day I try to start it.

Maybe the Paxton rep should read the literature that ships with all Novi's...it says right in there not to even start the car if temps are below 25* I copied and attached it below...

are those tempature tolerences only for start up or for when the car is in storage as well? I know for sure the garage gets colder then 25 in the winter so is it easy just to unbolt the head unit and keep it stored inside of the house for winter months?
