what are my pully options for a two belt novi 1000?

I just put on my new two belt novi 1000 and i am already itching for some more boost.

is the only pully that i can underdrive the supercharger pully? i really don't want to void my warranty right away.

also what pullies produce what boost levels.

    thanks,
    Terry

    Terry,

    Welcome to the site.

You can change the crank pulley but that will cost more ($180 or so from ASP) or you can change the blower.

I have a couple blower pulleys in stock 3.15 and 3.00 for the NOVI 1K. I am looking into crank pulleys but do not have pricing at this time. Our blower pulleys are $59.99 and $64.99.

Each step will be good for a couple pounds of boost at least.

    You can see them here:

    Thanks and welcome again,

    Ian

The only pulley that you can change will be the crank pulley if you want to maintain the warranty. Several guys here have used the 8" Vortech piece and typically see in the area of 10#'s.

I see 7#'s with stock pulley. What size would I want for an extra 2#'s?

With the 8" crank I seen 8lbs and I'm now at 10lbs with the addition of a powerpipe.

I'm currently running a 3.25 bp and stock cp and seeing 10#. I'm hoping to see 12-14# when I switch to the 8" crank (although I may have to step back up to the 3.5 bp so I don't overspin this baby).

You won't be overspinning with a 8" and 3.25" even if you shifted at 6000 you'd only be around 52000 rpm on a blower with a max efficiecy rating of 55000.Thats about perfect if you ask me.
