First off, what is your compression ratio? I would say that it is possible, but I would be careful since you are going to be testing that block's strength.

    thanks

I dont really know what the compression will be, i assume it will be around 10:1 because of the other 347 kits i`ve seen, i want to get it to around 9 but I dont know if thats possible, most heads are around 61cc thses days, maybe if i ran a brodix track 1 head, they have 68cc combustion chambers....

there's definitely more info needed here before your question gets answered. is this 347 put together yet? are you getting it used or from a machine shop? i suggest calculating what the compression is for sure before you do anything drastic.

Too many variables missing. Head cc, piston dish (or flat tops with what size reliefs?). What kit is it...that is...what deck height? Decks shaved? What head gaskets? More info please.

Anything more than 9.5:1 is too much for boost IMO. Then again, I am a sucker for more boost and less compression.
