    Talking 1st run with Cobra

Ok, here is the run down of the track altitude, temp, yadda yaddah yaddah:

    Altitude: 4,100'
    Temp: 80*
    Humidity: 21%
    Barometric Pressure: 30.33
Correction according to http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_da.htm 5,972' altitude

    Best run of the day:

    Reaction: .690
    60' 2.162
    1/4 ET 13.360
    1/4 mph 106.04

I used http://www.smokemup.com/auto_math/n...ion_factors.php and their math scheme to come up with a corrected run which would be a 12.53 @ 114.53.

This is on stock F-1's @ 25psi, a Powerstack filter and my Steeda Tri-Ax shifter. Had the spare tire and everything in the car. I made 6 runs today, and they were all 13.5 13.3 runs. One other run was almost identical to my best. It was a 13.367 @ 106.57. had a great time out there today. Only had wheel hop once, and that run ended up being a 14.57 @ 104. I definately need some drag radials and I think I could get this into the 12's out here in this terrible air.

There was a TT 99 WS6 that ran 12.5 @ 118 mph and a 1999 Viper RT/10 with a Novi 2000 on it that ran a 12.3 @ 120mph. I even hung out and talked with some of the import guys today. Everybody seemed pretty cool. The fastest import was a 13.5 @ 104mph. Some Civic hatchback. Told the dude I wished my car weighed 3000lbs, and he said it actually only weighed 2000lbs. Must be nice!!

Damn nice time Chris, now you need to run it at a lower elevation.

Yeah tell me about it Sean!! This elevation really sucks, but to be honest, if you run 13's out here, these people think you are king-ding-a-ling! :D Most of the import guys get all excited when they break into the 16's and 17's. Should have seen all the guys hovering around that 13 sec civic. You would think the car was gold plated! So I figure when I get my catback and a set of drag radials, I should be in the 12's on a day like today. Perfect weather for racing today. Started out about 70* when I first ran this morning. Couldn't have asked for a better day. And the best part of the day........driving home with the A/C on and the stereo cranking!! :D :D :D
