Good for you dan. I encourage you to keep it up my brother.:)

I gave up smoking at the first of the year. I still smoke an occasional cigar every month or so but other than that it is a done deal.

I don't think I'll quit drinking untill the price of fuel gets to 2.50 a gallon.

That could be by the end of summer if it keeps rising at the rate it has been! Locally, we're at about $1.96 for 87 octane. My Sunoco 94 is approaching $2.20/gal which is crazy.

BTW: Wouldn't high gas prices be a reason to start drinking instead of quitting? :D :D

    No not yet brent.

I have gone to the track twice and have a whopping 4.5 runs under my belt with the new tranny. Hard to get any practice with an average of two runs per visit.

My best with the new tranny is a 12.20 at 123 with horrid 60s and not so great 1-2 shifts.

I'll get her though. I am working on scaring up some 31 spline parts so I can get a little more radical with the launch and still be able to drive the car home lol.:)

I have an utmost respect for mr bob cosby and all the good stick drivers out there.:)

I know the feeling. I always go to the crappy track where I can get 10 passes in and then I go to Norwalk when i get the car worked out.

We have a guy here local that we put in our stick cars when we want them to run the number. LOL :D He makes a 13 second car feel like a pro stocker when you ride with him. ;)
