    FYI, how not to break you're F-1...

    You may have seen my other post(s) but I thought this important enough to make a separate thread. After speaking with ProCharger about my broken F-1, they told me the likey cause was jarring the "bullet" that protrudes from the center of the impeller. My inlet had always been taped up before the blower was installed but apprantly the impeller center bullet piece extends a bit past the inlet opening. Putting the head unit down on its inlet side could cause the dual bearing setup to become misaligned. ProCharger told me it was their fault in not giving much warning at all to F series owners and to make sure to lay the head unit down on its pulley side should you ever have it removed from the bracket or during the install.
