    What cog pullies to run?

Looking to switch to a cog system on my drivers side YS. Does anyone know if the 77 tooth crank pulley will have clearance problems with a stock water pump pulley? Maybe I need the cobra pulley?

Also, does anyone have any experience with the 73 tooth vs the 77 tooth.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, Aaron

I have run the 73 with a 27, 28, and 30 supercharger pulley. It works great but I do occasionally rip the cogs of the belts. I am at the 1,000 HP mark - I didn't have the same problems when I was at 800 HP. The faster you spin the supercharger and the higher the boost the harder it is on the belts.

One thing to consider about the 77 tooth - your belt speed will increase. The lower the belt speed the better off you are for both throwing belts and ripping cogs off the belt. I do not think I would run the 77.
