    smog pump elim. kit

    anyone know if the ASP smog pump eliminator kit fits on the novi 2000 bracket and what size belt im going to need? thanks.

    Belt hints

    The ASP does fit, that is what I have...I think I got it from summit for like $60. Anyhow, I also have the March A/C eliminator, so I can't help you with the belt size. You should still be able to use the belt that the Paxton manual recomends. But what I did is I took the stock belt and cut it. Then I wrapped it around all of the pulleys and marked it where the ends overlapped. I then measured the distance. This can be done with string or ribbon also.

    PS. I have a 3g alternator (new style), I found that I needed to get a shorter belt after installing it, so you may want to double check your combo for the proper distance....yours may be slightly different than mine or someone elses.
