    Talking Track results

Hit the local 1/8 mile yesterday, I definetely need to learn to drive again lol. At it may be time for some bigger tires :D

    Off the trailer I ran 7.23 @ 99.87 with a 1.80 60'
    Next run hit a 7.14 @ 97.28 with a 1.68 60'

Went to crap from there, lol. The weather and my driving just kept getting worse.

I ran on straight 93 octane and spout out at 21 degrees. No Tweecer for this go around. So there's quite a bit more left in it with some tuning. Forgot to take my camera so no pics this time around.

lol nope. I did make a few "beer runs" in it prior to taking it to the track :D I would estimate that there is a good 1/2 sec left in it once I get a good tune and can find some traction......A better driver may help too, man I drove like crap yesterday.

    Sean, Great runs!!!

I think those times would be equal to a 11:20 Maybe! Thats what I think!

Check out some times slips to give you a better idea!

I think it would be faster than 11.20's........definetly 124+mph and as you said there has to be alot more in the tune and chassis.........10.50's on the Novi 1000 is my prediction! You've got the right converter and tranny and those who know, know that's 1/2 the battle.

Thanks guys, as for now I think I will be severely limited by my lack of traction. These little 26 x 10.5 E/T Streets aren't holding to well for me. I've got some bugs to work out but I think that some solid 10 sec runs are feasible. I can tell you that I won't be running in the mid day heat anymore. Had to been damn close to 100 and the humidity was hella high as well, not your optimal blower weather.

That shouldn't be too difficult Brandon considering you hit 115 mph with a stock motor

Blueoval- not too sure I want to go to a taller tire, I was thinking about waiting til the Mickey Thompson drag radials come more available and picking up a set of those.

I've gotta give a shoutout for the Hoosier QTP's. Love'm. If those mickey DR's are what they are supposed to be they'll be hard to beat though.

To gage it against me 97.84 in the 1/8 and 7.2 equated to 11.19@125.8.......sooo i would guess easy 10.7s or better! congrats with lots more to gain from tuning easily a LOW 10 sec car!
