    pressure in coolent system

    guys my car has been sitting in a garage for 2 days i took my rediator cap off and there was lots of pressure in it. friends r telling me that its a head gasket. ?????

    that would be a good place to start. check the oil and see if it is milky(water in it). then you can do a compression test to see which cyl. are blown if any.
    if its not that it could also be your radiater cap. the seal could have dried up from sitting. the other thing it could be is a cracked head or block. did you drain the water out when you parked it for the 2 yrs. if not it might have frozen. just some things to check, hope it helps.
