I want everyone's idea's and maybe some pictures of polished parts!

What is the steps that everyone takes, and chemicals everyone uses, and also the tools to make a extremely shiny metal?

I have a few aluminum parts like my carb HAT! I want to polish these up behind belief!

    Let me know!

    Thanks

There is a company that makes some stuff to polish aluminum. I will forward you the site Monday at work. I have it stored on that computer. Most any of the polishes out there work good. My favorite is the wendal's. (summit).

Once you have it all polished Tire Rack sells a great product called Wheel Wax. Use this for regular cleanings. It is very easy to apply and wipe off. Unlike the polishes.

It doesn't polish, just cleans. It is great though. I use it on all my polished aluminum parts.

I also did try the ZOOPS Aluminnum Sealer. Didn't really excite me. For the money and ease of use I prefer the Wheel Wax.

No special tools, just a lot of time. It probably would work really well if your car saw a lot of road and winter salts. Mine doesn't and the wheel wax makes claening very fast. All 4 wheels in 5 minutes or so.

The Zoops, supposedly put on and the rinse clean from then on. Wheel Wax close to it, just reuse when you clean. I've liked it so far. Again but, my car doesn't see precipatation, other than a few car washes.
