1st time to the track with my TURBO......
My 1st time at the track with my new turbo was basically street trim, 93 octane, 15* base timing pulling 1* per lb, BFG drag radials and only 7 lbs of boost. (still waiting on my boost controller)

not too bad i guess. i'm eventually going to run 12lbs.

No, I made 3 passes throughout the night, they were all pretty much the same. The track surface was not hooking very well, even guys on slicks were bitching, I could only leave at 2" of vacuum.Originally Posted by mheinjr
Yes there is a major low and mid range torque difference in the NOVI 1000 and the TURBO. As soon as my manual boost controller comes in , I'm turning the boost up to 12lbs and i'll put my slicks back on........lol

hmmm, I went 12.83@115.7 with a 2.28 60'. :D I was at 10#'s though, and 10* base with no retards on board. :D Very nice frank
