First pass w/ Novi 1K Last Night

I made my first pass w/ the Novi on my car last night and did ok i guess, My best time was an 11.96 @123 mph I could not get the damn thing to hook up. I ran 10.5 inch E.T. streets. The car would not hook for any thing. Hopefully once i get it to hook i will go low 11's. Also the elevation was like 6000 ft. and the temp was around 85 degrees. So i guess that is pretty good. I want to break 125 mph next time to the track.

Damn nice MPH, I know what ya mean trying to use 10.5" tires, I'm running a C-4 and still can't hook worth a crap, can't imagine how bad a 5spd. would be. Considering the temp and elevation as well, you did a heck of a job!!

just out of curiosity, what kind of gas millage are you guys with above 120mph getting out of your cars? Just wondering, is the fcam a good blower cam, why not go for the custom ground cam?

wow, why is your millage so bad, is it because of the cam? The reason I am asking is that I cause I am currently getting 19mpg with the 9psi on a stock engine with exhaust, when you add heads and cam does it affect it that much???

10 mpg is not bad at all, its all how you drive. if your in a state with all straight roads with no stopping and your easy on it of course you gonna get like 18 mpg or so, im in urban connecticut and i average around 9.5 mpg in stop and go around town shifting at 2-5. thats a speed density 87 except for msd, gears, exhaust and a throttle body, so almost stock. with the same car ill get on a rural area with no stopping and get an easy 19 mpg, then hop on the highway and get 23 mpg.
