    mustang gt belt install (help)

    I've got an 02 mustang gt and im installing steeda's vortech sq
    system. I have everything installed correctly but i can't get the accessory belt on????? it seems short,,,,,,,,,is there a trick to install it???? i know it has to be tite.

    When I installed my S-trim kit, the belt they gave me was too short also. I took it to the parts store and got one alittle longer one that fit. Pretty easy fix.

    I also just got done installing the Steeda Vortech kit and while the belt did seem tight I used a pair of channel locks to move the tensioner pully and it went on. Oh ya it took me 3 trys till I got the belt routed correct so make sure you have the belt routed correct. BTW other than getting the fuel pump out getting the belt on was a major PITA.
