    blower carb vs. convention carb?

im going to up my boost on my motor. i need to go to a 700 cfm carb instead of my 600. its a holley. i have the 670 carb already so instead of buying a 700 supercharger carb i would like to use the 670, i was wondering what i need to do to the 670 holley double pumper to use it on my motor? what is different about a blower carb vs. a conventional? what would i have to get for the 670 to use it? thanks for the responses. oh yeah my setup is a weiand 142 on a 383, and im going from 5lbs to 10lbs. thanks again

    There are differents carb.

    Draw-through carb for roots blower
Blow-through carb for a turbo or a centrifugal supercharger

Both draw and blow are referenced to give more fuel under boost + some other goodies but basicaly, it's something like that.

if that is Holley and it is made or redone for a blower.
There is a deference there is a passage way drilled out.
I called Holly and they sent an address where you could see what to
do to convert a Holley for blower use. I guess when the rotor blades pass
under the carb it changes the vacuum a little and it drives the power valve
    nuts
    Holley < 866-464-6553 call them
Just pull the trigger and let it go,, This will work
    trust me
