I also have a flaming river manual rack and skinnies up front. It a little tough backing out of the garage but driving its fine. There is a big difference between the skinnies and the 245/50's on my ponnies though. Much easier with the skinnies wouldnt go back. My sway bar has been gone for about four years to. It drove a lot nicer without it!

Same here. Mustangs have front sway bars? :p ;) Thats more weight you can take off the front end. Three years, 20,000 miles and no swaybar.

Alrighty Then, the swaybar is History, got skinny's also. I used to love to road race my car, guess that's why i still had the swaybar. but it's draaaag racing now :D What does that thing weigh 25-30lbs? :(

Sway bar is tied to the lower controll arms and chasis when you go around corners it's designed to keep the car from too much body roll/or swaying to the side. it's there for handling purposes/youalso have one in the back of the car for the same reason.

Without the front anti-sway bar all of the cornering load is transferred to the outside tire, the bar helps distribute some of the cornering load back to the inside tire. Some cars do better without a bar than others - heavier cars need it more than light ones, wide tires need it more than skinny tire cars. My '70 Porsche 914 from years ago had 165/15s on all 4 corners, and no bars front or rear as oem, but it handled like it was on rails!

Most folks hook up better with the rear bar installed, again, helps keep the load more evenly distributed between both sides.

keep the rear OEM bar on there unless you choose to go to an aftermaket unit of some sort. I've "heard" horror stories of bad handling going down the 1320 w/o the rear one. Never seen it or desired to test that theory though :D

Without a rear sway bar, driving the car down the 1/4 mile is really hairy. Seen a couple of cars dance across the lane all the way down. It isn't pretty.
