What pulley for 8-10# of boost?

Ok I am a newb to supercharging. I have a new 2 belt Novi 1000 with the AFM powerpipe going in This weekend. I expect probably 5-6# of boost. I know this won't last to long before I want more boost. What is the next pulley size and where do I get them? Is there a chart showing pulley size relative to boost levels? I have gss340 255lph pump, 30lb injectors, 6:1 fmu, msd 6al, 73mm c&l MAF, TFS heads cam and intake and some other stuff.

A Vortech 8" renegade crank pulley should put you really close I would imagine.

Agreed, with a powerpipe 10#'s would be a reasonable goal and the best thing about the crank pulley is that you would not void your 3 yr warranty.

    I made 10# of boost w/ 3.25" pulley and a AFM pipe.

So what sould I be looking for? An 8"crank pulley or a 3.25 pulley? I don't see a 8" crank pulley listed under SCH parts?? Where might I locate one?

also, I assume Vortech and paxton pulleys are interchangable, but what is the difference between 6, 8 & 10 ribs? Stock is 6 ribs, correct? By changing to 8 or 10 ribs would it void the warranty and what does it do?

You don't need a pulley package even though it is a better value you can't use the blower pulley. The crank pulleys are the same but the blower pulleys are unique. You can buy the crank pulley without anything else. I ran the 8" crank on a H/C/I setup and it made 10psi with the stock blower pulley and the 4" powerpipe.
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

Do you know the part #?? I can only find pulley packages on there. I can't find a vortech 8" crank pulley.

There is the crank pulley only. I would probably wait around and look through the classifieds on the various Mustang sites. I picked up a renegade crank pulley for 100 bucks a month or so ago. I am just kind of chicken to put it on :)
