I went with MS and had them ceramic coated. I have 1 7/8" - 2" stepped w/ 3.5" collector. And I'd like to add that they weren't even close to a bolt on. I have a 302 block with an AOD and had to notch my k-member in 5 places, notch my tranny crossmember in 1 place, cut off 4" of my collector, and rebend 2 primary tubes myself. If i had to do it all over again, I'd hire a homeless man to bend some pipe for me for about the same kind of craftsmanship and save some cash.

That sucks for them being custom and the price paid. Is there any longtubes to fit an AOD without to much work???

My friend has a 408-w-victor heads and the 2"-3 1/2" kooks headers with a C4 and they fit like a dream. My next headers will be kooks for sure.

I'll give everyone an update in a few months on how the long tubes and AOD'd 351 work.

Mine are tight but they do fit... 351 + AOD + Kooks 1 7/8's to 3"

Thats good to know. But I really don't want to spend THAT much on a set of LT headers. I'm on a pretty tight budget. I'll probably go with MAC's, then not ***** to much because they aren't that expensive, haha.
