    BBK Inline pump REALLY loud.

I purchased a used BBK inline fuel pump and recently installed it on my 1992 Mustang. It seems to be working fine (good fuel pressue) but it is VERRRRRRRY loud. It sounds like the thing is mounted right next to my ear!

I mounted it right below my spare tire in frount of the fuel tank. The pump didn't come with any mounting hardware so I just used a metal bracket. The pump is sitting right up against the chassis.

Are these things usually super loud? Should I isolote this from the chassis somehow? If so, does anyone have any recommendations? Also, I am wondering what the stock mounting hardware looks like.

    Thx

Ok, so I solved my own problem :D I made a new bracket that did not have the fuel pump pressing directly against the bottom of the car. I also got a rubber sleeve to isolate any vibration. The new bracket cut most of the noise out.
