I need some money to fix my car. This EPEC has never been in the car as I was planning to learn to use it oever the winter. I bought it from a customer of Larocca's. The wiring harness is completely untouched.

I was told that it was in the car for one year. I bought earlier this summer and never installed it. I wanted to learn to use it next year, but I need the money now.

Then what will I need to use this system; If you could give a detailed picture It would be easier to decide. I have used a extender is it similar, and do I need a laptop. If so the laptop I have so thats not an issue. NO.2: will all my lights and accessories work. With some systems you need two seperate harness to make them work together. NO.3: Is it hard to tune I have access to a dyno to work things out I'm currently using 83 pound injectors and making 710 at the rear wheels with 699 torque using a PMS.

A laptop is necessary to use the EPEC. There is no external LCD screen or handheld unit for it. The EPEC plugs in between the stock computer and the EFI harness just like a PMS. I don't think there should be any issues with the lights or accessories. Also, you can get a stand alone harness from Larocca's (or make one yourself) which allows you to totally eliminate the stock computer. I read through the directions and it didn't seem too difficult to make timing and fuel adjustments.

The nice thing about the EPEC is that you can datalog without having to have the laptop connected. More information is available at:
