    3G Alternator Upgrade/Novi2000 Bracketry

Im going to be upgrading to a 3G alternator. Ill be getting it from a donor car such as a 94-96 Mustang V6 or 95-96 Windstar V6 etc. My question is
    1. Are these alternators the exact same size(of housing) as the stock one on my 93'LX?
    2. Am i going to have a problem bolting it up to my Paxton Novi2000 bracketry,
or would it be a direct bolt on?

    Any help would be appriciated
