Does your oil feed line leak?

I have a Vortech V1 on a 99GT. I noticed an oil leak right where the hose fitting screws into the blower. I tightened the fitting, and now it'll just be a little wet with oil after long drives. I didn't want to overtighten and risk stripping something, and I was afraid of putting sealant on the threads, because pieces might break off and block oil flow.

So I'm wondering if others have this problem, and if they have any "tricks" or advice on how to fix it.

I have used teflon paste before. I just don't put any near the end. I know, the directions say not to.

Chris you're a bad boy. :D J/K Thought about doing that myself, my T fitting has a slight film, but does not leak.

I thought about applying some Permetex RTV or teflon paste right around the leaking area without taking off the fitting. Maybe if I do this when everything is hot, it'll "wick" in and seal the leak.

I've always heard of coating the threads with oil before assembly to help seal them
