Did I mess up my MAF?

I extended my mass air wiring harness about a foot when I installed my AFM pipe. I have been having drivabily issues, running rough, etc.... Could this be the culprit? I am positive I have good connections, but someone told me you are not suppost to extend these wires and it would cause drivability problems. It is a 73mm C&L MAF. I have heard bad things about these from people. I never had any trouble like this until I put the SC on. It has the correct red tube for 30lb. injectors also. ANy input??

Not that I am aware of. That is why I extended the wires.

I extended mine without issues. One time I had it extended all the way over to the other side of the car when I ran a Procharger without issues.

There was a company that did sell an extension harnass, not sure if they are in business still or not though. I ran that extension without problems. Did you try clocking the meter? Sometimes that helps.

How did you extend the wires?? Most that I know have run into problems just used those crimp on connectors instead of soldiering all the connections....

It's probably the C&L, they can be hit or miss. Mine worked great at first with the 19# tube and panel filter but I was never happy running the 30# calibration, switched to a Pro-M and it solved [most of] my problems.

As a few mentioned, this reaks of a clocking problem.:)
