    belt slipping..

i'm installing a novi1000 (1belt) on my car. and i've been told that with the 6 rib belt slip tends to occur. how can i correct this? and i've been told that by adjusting the pullies it will make it worse..

Well belt slip is a problem with any blower. The old style novi's from what i've see are very relied on the "perfect" sized belt. You can change crank pullies to spin the blower faster and this help a slipping problem. Welcome to the site.

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

Never really had any issues with belt slip on mine with the stock blower pulley. Tightened down good and a little belt grip when needed at the track for insurance.
