"Bypass valves open with vacuum off the intake when the T-body closes but,the bypass will have no effect on your lean issue.if you take the bypass valve off you shouldn't be able to blow through it at all. if you unhook the discharge side of the bypass @ idle there should be alot of air coming out even @ idle."

When I disconnect the discharge of the bypass @ idle nothing comes out. I cant blow through it though. Does this mean its bad. I installed a 8" renegade pulley and now have more boost, but servere bucking and drivability trouble. I suspect it is bad. Any other tests before I toss it in the trash and buy a billet one?
