    YSI Noise??

Any body have their YSI off their car or atleast the belt off it. If you get a minute turn the shaft clockwise & counter clockwise qiuckly and see if you hear a clicking noise.

I drove my car home from Milan and at some point the bolt that holds the pulley on backed its self out. The strut support kept the pulley on but it chewed the $hit out of the inside of the pulley. All looks fine on the YSi, the bearings feel tight, and vortech said this noise is normal, just I don't recall it doing this.

    Thanks,

Yeah,, that is back lash as previously stated. Perfectly normal as you will find it in almost any gearset. Even your ring and pinion will do the same thing.

Thanks, everyone! Vortech said they'd look it for free, just to ease my mind. So I will still probably send it to them, just to make sure all is well. The puley may have been out for the entire 45 mile drive. Better safe than sorry, plus I have all winter long, don't need it till the spring time. :D
