    what valve covers work

need to know what valve covers will clear this setup.
331, afr 185's w/ stud mount rockers, cobra intake, s-trim w/ vortech aftercooler.the guy i'm doing the car for would prefer aftermarket v/c's, and don't want to run an intake spacer. i have never used an aftercooler to know what will and won't work and don't want to do a trial and error thing.

    any help appreciated.

    thanks maurice

I think the trick flow vc's clear the intake alright. What rocker is he running. You should be able to squeak in some extra timing with the cooler for sure! ;)
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

I have a set of these

    http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com/50-index

They fit pretty good over my RR's and clear the bottom of my Gt-40 intake w/o a spacer.

why not use the stock ones on the fox body's and just grind out the baffles?

I am going to be using Ford Racing Polished Tall valve covers. I have Scorpion 1.6 roller rockers on mine and even a stock valve covers with every baffle, groove, etc ground out they still hit. It is going to be a tight fit, but I think it should work.

Doesn't the filler have to be on the drivers side in order to work with the aftercooler?
