    How to identify a VR4 ?

    I am looking for a VR4 and don't even know how they look like, are they different from a SN93 from the outside ?:shocked:

    Look at the impeller. It should have a 4 inch intake diameter.

    Now that Craig at Paradise has come up with more VR4 kits the $600 to convert your SN93 is much cheaper than finding a complete VR4 unit. The VR4 impeller is much different and when you see it you will know. The inlet is 4" and the discharge tube is larger also. The rear plate is 1/2" thicker that holds the impeller since it is larger. The original VR4 kits are also a billet impeller like the first Novi 2000 but as with everything Paxton went cheap after a model year and they stopped being billet.
