You guy's w/ramcharger fans!

I'm sure you could use it...it would just be a matter of figuring out the terminals on the fan.....which in turn would save you some money as you can by the Ramcharger fan without the wiring.

agreed the Mk8 does put a BIG load on the alternator for sure, but i got spoiled having it on there, even in the hottest weather my temps didnt go above 185 :teeth: now i need to make a choice, my Mk8 fan was ruined when my crank broke, im trying to decide if i want another Mk8 a RamChargers fan or keep the stock mechanical fan and shroud, and actually the mechanical fan works extremely well and i felt NO power loss either by the old SOTP :D

one question, if i go with the Ramchargers setup, can i use my existing relay, temp sensor and wiring from my Mk8 fan??

I used my existing relay and temp unit. There are 4 wires on the ramchargers fan plug. 2 black wires, a yellow and a green. The 2 black wires are ground. I cant remember either yellow or green does what. I remember 2 wires have to be together for high speed. If they are hooked up individually it is low speed. I am sure someone will chime in with the proper colors for wiring, but it is really easy and will work with your existing relays.
